This was a very comfortable house with a lovely garden and eating out veranda, very well fitted-out kitchen, plenty of space and all-in-all an excellent place to stay. The beach was a short walk away and just a little more than 10 minutes to Margaret River town. As a base to explore the Margaret River region it is very well situated. We would recommend it strongly.

Emma’s house was perfect for my husband and I, and our adult daughter. We really appreciated Emma’s well stocked kitchen, games, lovely backyard, and the general layout of the house. The neighborhood is pretty and peaceful, and we loved the fact that we could walk to the beach for a swim and/or for a coffee. It is very close to walking trails, organic farm shops, golf course (we don;t play golf but we enjoyed having an evening glass of wine there and watch the kangoroos), MR downtown and many wineries. To sum up, we had two wonderful weeks at Emma’s place and we’ll have no hesitation booking the house again next time we visit our daughter in Perth.

A lovely quiet part of Margaret River in Gnarabup. An easy, short, walk to the beach. Great garden with lovely peppermint trees. The White Elephant Café nearby is always good for a great coffee and breakfast!

The facilities are complete. The living room and dining room are spacious and comfortable, the garden and grass are large and beautiful, and the beds are clean and very comfortable. However, The refrigerator and inset sink may need to be bigger. There was a three-hour power outage on the whole area during dinner time on the second day, and a lot of food was wasted while cooking, which was disappointing, but it wasn't the house's problem.
