Gezellig, ruim huis met fantastische tuin! Wij hadden mooi weer en hebben dan ook echt van 's morgens tot 's avonds genoten van de grote tuin, van het mooie uitzicht, prachtige zonsondergangen, en het buiten eten onder de grote olm. Voor de kinderen is er veel plek om buiten te spelen en de zolderruimte was voor hen een waar speelwalhalla! De binnenruimtes hebben we overdag niet veel gebruikt, maar zijn ruim en gezellig en lijken ons toch ok om ook bij regenweer een vakantie door te brengen. Alles is netjes verzorgd. Een goed uitvalsbasis om het zuiden van de Argonne te ontdekken. Michèle heeft ons hartelijk onthaald en was steeds bereikbaar.

Erg bijzondere sfeer, mede ook dankzij de speciale muziek en boekencollectie. De tuin is grandioos, en de combinatie van zonsondergang en het kampvuur is buitengewoon intiem. Wat een vrijheid!

What a wonderful place, the house is spacious and fully equipped (never saw a place so fully equipped in my life). The garden is huge and lovely with the possibility to make a campfire. View from the garden on the meadows with cattle and we even spotted a deer and a young wild boar from the garden. Plenty of shade and sun. Walks and hikes in the surroundings are lovely in the woods, the meadows and around the ponds, do mind the signs for private space/roads on your way. Pretty close to sights like Verdun, Reims and of course the champagne houses! As such plenty to do. For groceries, do check for the little shop of home growers of vegetables in Le Chemin, the bakers drops by the house, but be swift to respond to the horn around 8:00-8:30 in the morning. Alternatively there is a Super U in Sainte Ménéhould or a smaller shop with necessities in Givry. If you like goat cheese, yoghurt, pâté and sausages, there is a lovely farmer in Villiers-en-Argonne that sells them. All in all, this is a lovely place which I surely recommend!

A great countryside get away. Beautiful house and lovely location - had plenty of space and everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Michele was great at communicating before and during our stay and gave us lots of helpful information about what to do in the local area.

Zeer rustige en mooie omgeving. Ideaal om te ontstressen. Ruime woning met alle nodige comfort. Wel wat afgelegen van enkele bezienswaardigheden en om boodschappen te doen.
