I find Beth a very responsible host. I did not have the chance to meet her in person because she was out of town during my stay. We have no problem in communication with emails and whatsapp. Her helper, Ana, has been very helpful. She waited for me at the apartment. She introduced everything in the apartment to me such as the air-conditioner, water heater and other things. Basically the apartment has everything you may need and are all in good condition. The neighborhood has a lot of local restaurants and shops. It is only one MTR stop to Causeway Bay, one of the most popular areas for shopping and dining. Central, the busiest commercial area in Hong Kong, is only a couple of MRT stops from Wanchai. Among the rather old buildings in the neighborhood, the apartment is situated in a relatively new building with modern facilities. It's been a pleasant stay and I would recommend this apartment to people visiting Hong Kong.

Absolutely amazing place which is clean, beautiful, accessible/central and comfortable and homely! The apartment is on a hight floor so you have the best views of the mountains and HK lights! Fully equipped kitchen and close to Wanchai market and supplies if you wan to cook! Above all, Beth being such a lovely host who spent so much time to share information and welcome us with all her txt's made it among our best stays on Airbnb!!

Beth is a super-cool Canadian and her place is a real find. I used to live in HK full time and know the real estate market well, so I know of which I speak when I say this property is unusually appealing. Frankly, the standard of quality in HK for construction is extremely low, and you'd normally have to go to the Peak or a newer property in Mid-Levels to find this quality of construction. It's a unique find in Wan Chai! The home is very tastefully decorated, and by Hong Kong stadards, it's quite spacious. By Western standards, it's "entirely fine", which is to say head and antlers above most of what exists in this market. One caveat to set westerners' expectations: There are no closets. This is just HK culture, and nobody (from outside) understands it. Plan to live out of your suitcases, and if you need to hang clothes on hangers, expect to do that off a doorknob. Again, this is not a criticism of this specific property - just the reality of how things are in HK. We particularly enjoyed Beth's sense of humor in the WiFi SSID and password!
