My stay at the Rizzi villa could not have been more pleasant. Villarbasse is a small, quaint village near the town of Rivoli and the city of Turin. The Rizzi villa is made up of three separate quarters: one for the parents, one for the daughter, and one for the son. I stayed in the son’s quarters and had a two-story, fully stocked home to myself with a kitchen, living room, dining area, three bedrooms, study, two bathooms, a large deck and a beautiful yard. I had two TVs (which I did not watch) and wi-fi as well. Giovanni met me at the bus station and his parents greeted me with lunch on the patio. A generous breakfast was laid out for me and beverages and an espresso maker (with coffee) was provided. I was even invited to a family dinner and enjoyed engaging conversation. The family was gracious and the lodgings were both attractive and comfortable. It was definitely a 5 star experience!
