This house is beautiful and spacious. We were able to have a family get together for a weekend during our week long stay. Everyone had plenty of room. We loved the game room and the hot tub. There isn't much of a view off the deck, but the trees surrounding it makes it feel very secluded and private. The sound of the stream below is peaceful, also. As with all places, bring your own pillows. Also, if you're big into cooking, bring your own pans. And, for my fellow coffee lovers, it's a bit of a drive to a coffee shop. Overall, this was a great vacation spot that even all three of my kiddos loved! I recommend Chimney Rock/Hickory Nut Falls, Lake House Restaurant, River Watch Restaurant, the Flowering Gardens, and taking a canoe out on the private lake.

Great place to stay with family and friends , the house was nice and clean as advertised! The house is located in a beautiful area with lots of things to do! Robin was very respectful, responsive and helpful during my stay at lake lure. I will definitely be planning to book again in the future!

Our group had a wonderful time and made so many memories at Laurelwood Lodge. The community lake and river were so peaceful, and I'm so glad we were able to kayak with the mountains in the background. We had a ton of fun in the game room, in the hot tub, and cooking meals together in the kitchen and on the grill. My only warning is that the internet is very spotty. For me, it was nice to further unplug from electronics, but I know some people on my trip were needing to work remotely, which just wasn't possible due to the Internet quality. But overall, it was an incredibly memorable and relaxing vacation.
