We love sharing our house with friendly travelers from across the globe. It's been so fun to create a space that makes people feel right at home. A little bit about us... Duston - a father, a native Oregonian, a musician, a surfer and a DIY-er. He works in urban development and usually has some building or remodeling project in the works. Currently, he is immersed in building plans for a tiny cabin situated within a little wooded area out on the Oregon coast. It's a spot where you can hear the ocean, pick fresh huckleberries and cook over a campfire. It is wild & off-the-grid, so he is learning more about sustainable power, water and food sources for this new adventure. Genevieve - a mother, a California native, an animal lover, a gardener and a creative at heart. She is usually dreaming up interior designs and photographing her surroundings. An avid traveler, she is always up for the next adventure...especially if it includes time outdoors. She relocated from the desert 12 years ago for the greener scenery of the beautiful Pacific Northwest. She is happy to share her favorite Pacific Northwest hikes and secret river spots. Our daughter Sophie - an adventurous and carefree kid. She can often be found running around without shoes on, climbing trees, making mud balls, foraging in the garden, collecting rocks or crafting an art project. She is currently into swimming, bouldering and learning to surf on the Oregon coast with her dad. We all love that our little Northeast neighborhood is so walkable and unique. Need a recommendation...we got you covered! The surrounding area allows for an ideal experience for those who are visiting Portland for the first time or those who are familiar with the city and looking for a "home away from home".
