My mother and I were guests at Tété and her family's house for two weeks - with an island-hopping break in between. We actually wanted to stay in the separate flat on the ground floor. But as this was not possible, we stayed in the two guest rooms in the family home. And I have to say that looking back it was a great added value. By living with Tété and her family, we learnt and experienced a lot that would otherwise have remained hidden from us. Not just the discovery of our new culinary highlight: "bissap" (hibiscus flowers) as juice and jam for breakfast (delicious!) - if you want to get close to Cabo Verde, its people and its culture, Casa Tété with all its family members is the right place for you! Tété was very attentive and helpful the whole time and shared a lot of her extensive knowledge and experience with us. She is the engine, the heart and the soul of this Airbnb! Thank you so much for everything, dear Tété & family! Obrigada 😊!!!

Tété is a wonderful host and also a very talented artist. Fun, friendly, easygoing, and knows everything about Cape Verde. The place is amazing, the location is the best. Praia is beautiful. I am grateful and looking forward to going back.

Tété hat uns herzlich empfangen und uns direkt die grosszügige Wohnung gezeigt. Es gibt einen Tisch und Sitzgelegenheiten draussen und einen grossen Wohnbereich mit offener Küche. Die beiden Schlafzimmer sind sauber. Mit der Klimaanlage im Doppelzimmer lässt sich die ganze Wohnung angenehm kühlen. Tété ist eine sehr interessante Persönlichkeit und ein herzlicher Gastgeber. Der Aufenthalt hat uns sehr gefallen!

Tété's place has an amazing sea view and is removed enough from the city but still close enough to access anything you need - from supermarkets to restaurants. Tété is a friendly and gracious host - would definitely recommend!
