These apartments are a great location (uphill so get a cab or enjoy the walk) and the hosts couldn’t have been more welcoming. They are super helpful and always on hand to offer local advice or help in anyway. Apartments are clean and have lovely views from the balcony or terrace. Highly recommend

This is the second time I've stayed at Marica's! Great value for the price and the owners are very friendly and have their own wine they make and sell at the property. The town is close enough to walk to in 5-10 mins but far enough away that you don't hear the loud music/nightlife.

Der Host ist sehr nett und aufmerksam. Nach unserer langen Anfahrt hat er uns mit kalten Getränken versorgt und unserer Tochter auf die schnelle ein Sandwich gezaubert. Man hat sich auf Anhieb willkommen gefühlt. Das Apartment ist klein, aber man hat trotzdem alles was man braucht, insgesamt auch sehr sauber. Der Balkon ist verhältnismäßig groß und hat einen schönen Meerblick. Das Apartment liegt oberhalb vom Hotel Amfora und man gelangt in wenigen Gehminuten zur Strandpromende oder in die wunderschöne Altstadt. Wir können Hvar, das Apartment und die Hosts wärmstens empfehlen!

We stayed with Mare and her family for a week, mid-July. Mare very kindly picked us up from the bus station to take us to the apartment and the welcome was warm as soon as we met her. The whole house/space around the house is so welcoming - we immediately knew we were staying somewhere special. Lots of lovely touches really made a big difference and along with their wonderful hospitality, we had the perfect stay in Hvar. Nothing was too much trouble; from hiring a boat to booking a taxi, it was very helpful to have Mare and her husband to hand if there was anything we needed. We also enjoyed some of their homemade wine on the terrace and had the chance to meet other guests during our stay. The room (apartment 3) was compact but had everything we needed and was spotless, with some nice touches. Really comfortable bed, modern bathroom with a great shower and a small kitchen which was big enough to make simple meals in. The balcony has a table and chairs and looks out over the Adriatic. The apartment is ideally situated for the town and beaches, but being above the town centre means it's peaceful and has great views. This is very special place - Mare and her husband are wonderful hosts and I don't think you could find a better place to stay in Hvar for the money.
