Nice place for the price. Very close to the beach. The food is amazing especially the whole fish. Cooks and host were very helpful and friendly. The have the cheapest price beers around the neighborhood. You’ll enjoy

I recently stayed at Milele Lodge and it was a mixed experience. Issues: - Upon checking in we received the wrong lock to our room and the staff could not find the key. So we had to spend nearly an hour breaking the lock which delayed us from our dinner reservation. - Our bed had bugs on the sheets upon arrival and we had to switch rooms because of it. - Getting to the location from the main street took nearly 15 minutes, which was hard with all the bags we carried in. We should have been told to take a taxi and the host did not leave any arrival details. Positives: - The staff was friendly, helpful, and resolved the issues that arose. They also hosted us with a warm welcome. - The location was a nice 2 minutes from the beach. - The restaurant served nice food and the breakfast was great too.

Milele war unsere zweite Unterkunft (von insgesamt 4 Unterkünften der 2-wöchigen Reise). Rückblickend war Milele für uns leider nur auf Platz 4 aller Unterkünfte. Das Team war sehr freundlich, da gibt es keine Beanstandungen, auch das Essen war sehr lecker. Der einzige Grund, warum wir nicht länger geblieben sind und noch innerhalb des Ortes in eine andere Unterkunft gewechselt sind, war das fehlende Wasser. Letztlich mussten wir für fast jede Wassernutzung darum bitten das Wasser anzustellen. Und kaum fertig, war es schon wieder aus. Wir sind ansich nicht penibel und finden uns mit den Gegebenheiten vor Ort ab, aber wenn man sich nach der Toilette nicht die Hände waschen kann und erst nach Wasser fragen muss, ist es auf Dauer doch leider eher unangenehm und man will damit nicht nerven. Auch hat uns nachts im Bad eine kleine Maus kurz erschrocken (sie sich ebenfalls :D ), aber ich denke das lässt sich nicht wirklich verhindern, denn sauber war es. Super nette Lodge, mit sehr freundlichen Mitarbeitern. Der Strand ist super schnell zu erreichen und das Frühstück ist auch mit inbegriffen. Das WLAN schwankt häufiger mal, aber darauf muss man sich auf der Insel sowieso einstellen. Ich komme gern wieder!
