Beware of this host, we felt cheated. We were contacted by a rental company called D4U. A few days before our trip, we were advised by D4U, (not our host) that the apartment we booked needed repairs. They offered us a “much more expensive” apartment that made us feel like they were doing is a special favour. I believe they use amazing photos of apartments that do not exist, and then make excuses for needing to change/cancel the bookings at the last minute, offering alternatives that are not of the same quality as the original booking. The apartment was terrible, it was filthy, the toilet had “leftovers” from someone else. There were used tissues tossed on the sofa. It was not beautiful, it was not even pleasant. It had no parking, and was quite dark and depressing. Beware of this host, beware of the company D4U. They know very well, that at the last minute, we have already committed to the trip with flights tickets and rental cars already paid for. So the offer to “let us have a much more expensive apartment” because they felt bad about cancelling our booking was an offer we could not refuse at such a late date. So disappointed. Feeling cheated and tricked has ruined our whole holy experience.
La casa di Eugenio e Bruno è accogliente e caratteristica. La pulizia è impeccabile. Nelle immediate vicinanze ci sono negozi e ristoranti, e una pista ciclabile che permette di passeggiare per km. Gli ospiti sono disponibili e gentili. Consigliatissimi.
Abbiamo avuto occasione di conoscere Eugenio, una persona molto disponibile, ospitale e solare. E venuto pure a salutarci al momento della partenza. Molto molto gentile. Ci ha fatto proprio piacere conoscerlo e speriamo di tornarci!
We had a nice stay at Eugenio and Bruno’s place. The cabin was very cozy and clean. This would be a great spot to stay if you’re looking to hike a lot, or if you want to ski in Cortina but not pay Cortina prices. The cabin could use a few updates but nothing we couldn’t live with for a few days. Definitely recommend!
