We stayed at Gortnamacken House Friday 23rd to Monday 26th September. As we await our departure from Shannon airport, we wanted to take the time to reflect on our trip to Ireland. Luisa was the most wonderful host. She was incredibly hospitable, helpful and kind. Nothing was too much trouble. We were provided with towels, bathroom amenities and access to other homely necessities. Having our own key and gate code made it possible for us to freely come and go. And our breakfasts were always very tasty and Luisa went the extra mile to give us delicious foods from her garden! One of the highlights of our stay was Luisa’s nephew Jack taking us to see her land and the beautiful animals they have. The horses and calves were our favourites. Luisa and her nephew were a true delight and were instrumental in making our stay so meaningful and joyful. We would happily visit again! Hopefully soon!

Très belle propriété avec les chevaux a proximité. Logement un peu excentré mais Looghrea est une ville typique d'Irlande avec un joli lac. Nous sommes sûrement mal tombés car nous n'avons pas eu la chance de rencontrer Louisa et avons été accueillis par son gendre sympathique mais peu disponible. Du coup ce qui nous avait plu dans les précédents commentaires à savoir les échanges avec l'hôte étaient absents et difficiles aussi dans ces conditions de demander les quelques commodités dont nous avions besoin. l'expérience aurait nous en sommes sûrs meilleure dans un autre contexte.

A fantastic spot with beautiful country scenery. Luisa and her daughter Stephanie were the best hosts! I almost forgot about Lucy, Frodo, Merry and Pippin the cutest little dogs. Thanks for everything!
