Georgi hat uns am Flughafen Ohrid abgeholt und uns zum Haus gefahren. Das A1 App ist schön groß für 2 Personen. Die Matratzen waren gut. Der Wohn und Essbereich mit offener Küche war großzügig dimensioniert. Der Blick aus dem Fenster auf den See war grandios. Warmwasser in der Küche ist Verbesserungsbedürftig; die Temperatur war eher lau-warum. Zum Spülen holt man im Bad oder nutzt die die Geschirrspülmaschine. Der Kühlschrank war sauber und groß mit separatem Eisfach. Die Liegen auf der Terrasse dürfen gerne mal ersetzt werden, da sie schon zahlreiche Reparaturen hinter sich haben. Irgendwann geht es nicht mehr zu reparieren. Neue dickere Auflagen für die Liegen wären auch schön. Für das warme Wasser zum Duschen unbedingt frühzeitig die Heizung anstellen. Die Lage in der Altstadt mit der Sonnenterrasse am See ist das absolute Highlight. Besser kann man nicht wohnen. Ein Genuss ist es auf der Terrasse mit Seeblick zu speisen.

We spent four days in April, still quiet time on the lake but so beautiful. We felt completely welcome and the space was private and easy walking distance to everything. Georgi and his son very kind. We would love to visit again maybe when it’s warmer and we can swim right in front of the historic home.

If my grandfather were still alive, he would have wanted to be friends with George. That is about the highest compliment I can give. George was super friendly, knowledgeable, gracious, hospitable, and downright cool. The location is literally on the lake...I walked down a flight of stairs, out the door, and was just sitting on the dock or swimming in the lake. I couldn't imagine a more ideal location, as it was just a quick walk anywhere, whether to Kaneo (which is amazing, by the way) or up into Old Town, or out to the main part of Ohrid. George and his son helped me find my way (which is not hard), but the amount and availability of communication was outstanding. I am looking forward to figuring out when I can visit Ohrid again, just so that I can stay with George. Oh, and, as a bonus, the WiFi was great, which meant I could stream the World Championships Road Race (cycling). Could not say enough great things about this place.

Georgi was more than just a host. Friendly and helpful man. Still proffesional. He had a lot of knowledge about Ohrid and the area. We recommend Georgi's place. A beautiful spot to stay for a few days or more.
