The Old Rectory proved to be an excellent venue for an 80th birthday multi-generational family celebration. It was well equipped for catering for 12+, and provided plenty of space both indoors and outside in the lovely garden, where croquet was enjoyed, as were lunches in the conservatory even in early April. A special place for a special celebration. Thank you.
The Old Rectory is absolutely lovely. It ticked all the boxes for a family get together to celebrate an 80t.h birthday. It is very roomy and accommodated all of us (13) without us getting in each others way.. The trampoline was the highlight for the younger children, and the older adults enjoyed the croquet, even though there are only 3 balls!. We had a really lovely few days in spite of the rather rainy weather. Many thanks, Justin, Rupert and Patrick.
It was a great place to celebrate a double birthday. Lots of room and very well equipped for large gatherings.
Super house and location, perfect for getting away from modern life. Loved every minute.
What an amazing place The Old Rectory is. We held my mum's 80th here and it was an ideal venue for our multigenerational get together. We felt at home and relaxed in the spacious house, and made the most of the log fires and the beautiful rooms. The kitchen was well equipped with crockery and utensils, and we whipped up some fantastic feasts... although a cooker/ fridge upgrade is due. Thanks so much for enabling us to spend a very special few days together, we'd love to come back in the spring or summer sometime to make use of the divine private garden space and beautiful conservatory.

Justin, Rupert, and Patrick Williams grew up in the Old Rectory Burford and love the house very much. We don't live in the area any more but we don’t want to sell this wonderful house! Instead we’ve decided to share it with guests to cover our costs, and allow us to come back every so often. We hope you enjoy the house as much as we do.
