Ein wunderschönes, liebevoll eingerichtes italienisches "Tinyhouse". Nur der Verkehr davor ist am Wochenende unsäglich, da sollte man früh los, um etwas zu unternehmen und spät zurückkommen.

The place is extremely noisy from cars and motorcycles going by 24 hours although the traffic does slow down at night however it’s almost impossible to sleep. The host was not helpful, after an hour of being there we reached out to the host about clogged shower ( sent her photo of the shower floor full of water) and the only thing she said “I took a shower this morning before you got here and it worked just fine”. So instead of fixing knowing we are there for a week she decided to be defensive. The place was dirty and much smaller than the pictures show. We did have to clean the place as soon as we got there. We were also notified an hour before our check in that’s there was no stove but rather just a small cook top. A lot of amenities that she listed was not there such as robes, fresh fruits, etc... also the bathroom rug looked like it has never been washed the original light blue color was turning gray. I’ve been traveling for a decade and never had a bad experience until this place

Mit Carmen als Gastgeberin waren wir sehr zufrieden. Von Anfang an gab sie uns gute Informationen und hat auf Anfragen schnell und freundlich reagiert. Man konnte spüren, daß ihr unser Wohl am Herzen lag. Es war uns bewusst, daß es durch die Nähe zum Meer in dieser Jahreszeit abends kühl und feucht sein würde. Carmen hat uns aber einen Heizofen zur Verfügung gestellt, so daß wir es warm hatten. Oben, im Hochbett, kann man es sich richtig gemütlich machen. Bei Sonnenaufgang, wenn die Sonne hereinscheint, wird es sehr angenehm und man hat eine tolle Aussicht. Im Januar sind viele Geschäfte und Restaurants geschlossen. Im nahegelegenen Sant'Agat gab es alles. Besonders gefallen haben uns die freundlichen Bewohner von Nerano, immer hilfsbereit, interessiert und gern für ein Schwätzchen bereit. Erwähnenswert sind auch die Nachbarinnen vom FAI, einer italienischen Umweltorganisation, die den Santiero di Hieranto schützt und pflegt. Dort haben wir gute Tipps bekommen und Olivenöl probiert.

Carmen created a really unique place to stay for a couple of days. We felt like home right away, after some cleaning. The place felt like Carmen is actually using it herself which is really nice. It was decorated lovely. The floor was a bit dusty and the dishes weren't perfectly clean. the fridge hadn't been cleaned and the fridge's rubber seal really needs some cleaning or replacing. The house is located right next to a hill and the view over the water is amazing!! Because it's right at the road and a church it can get noisy and the outside will stay wet after raining cause the water doesn't drain by itself. You can do two really nice hikes right outside the house which I definitely recommend.
