A fantastic place to stay in Bruges - a charming and historic residential neighbourhood just minutes away from windmills, canals, quirky shops, a great supermarket and great eateries, including a couple of excellent Tibetan restaurants. Everything in Hilde's space is stylish and lovingly chosen for its combination of beauty, form and function, from clocks to potato peelers. There's a calm, peaceful vibe from the moment you enter, thanks to the gentle scent from fragrance sticks and a Zwitsher box that plays birdsong when you pass by the downstairs WC. A superbly equipped kitchen, glass-enclosed fire place, and charming garden add to the ground floor experience. The only downside is the staircase, a challenge for anyone with more than a size 3 shoe (US size 5) due to extremely shallow treads. When descending go down backwards, especially if you're carrying anything, and leave your empty suitcase and laptop on the ground floor !

A beautiful home to stay in within a 10 minute walk of the Belfry at the centre of the city. The house is extremely comfortable and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is fully equipped and the bathroom is large and comfortable. The host is very helpful and went the extra mile to arrange paid secure parking for us. The only thing to note is that the stairs are fairly steep. Would recommend and look forward to staying again.

The house is located in a quiet neighbourhood, about a 10 minute walk into the centre of Bruges. The house was really clean, with all that you’d need for a stay. We really appreciated having tea and coffee pods provided. The house was well stocked with cleaning fluids, pots, pans, cutlery, crockery, as well as cooking oils, herbs, spices, etc. If you had wanted to cook and eat in every day you could do so easily. The house was warm and spacious, with a great gas fire. The garden space was big and would be ideal in the summer months. Beds were comfortable. Check in and out was very straightforward. Voor wie niet zo vaak een AirBNB boekt, dit is hoe het hoort te zijn. De 5 sterren zijn meer dan verdiend!! Hilde reageert erg snel op vragen en heeft goede tips. Over het huis zelf niets dan lof. Erg gezellige inrichting met open haard en er ontbreekt je echt aan niets, zelf een lekker biertje in de koelkast, koffiecups etc. Ook was alles schoon en Anne gaf ons goed uitleg over hoe alles werkt. Het was ongeveer 10 minuten lopen naar het centrum maar je zit gelukkig wel in de rust. Wij komen zeker nog een keer terug want dit was echt top. Bedankt namens Sven, Wendy, Marko en Linda
