The stay at Leighanne's was was fantastic. I only wish we could have stayed longer. The bed was comfortable, the towels were soft, and the breakfast was wonderful. She even took into account my dietary restrictions for the breakfast and let my musically inclined husband play the piano. It was very welcoming and we felt like family. I would definitely recommend staying here when in Richmond.
My husband and I stayed at Leighanne’s place while attending a wedding in the area. We checked out this morning but have already suggested her accommodations to all our family and friends! We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back! Leighanne is a wonderful host! Breakfast was delicious and coffee always available in plenty! She is an exceptional conversationalist, and has the personality to immediately feel like you’ve known her for years! The house is so so cozy, and very clean!
This was my 4th stay in Leighanne's home and 2nd time in this room. I love this room, especially the very comfortable bed and luxurious carpet. Leighanne is welcoming and I enjoy visiting with her. She provides an extensive and delicious continental breakfast each morning which is a real treat.
We chose Seldom Seen based on a recommendation from Sara with “Get Lost” and we were not disappointed. We found SS to be tucked away amongst beautiful gardens, it was quiet, peaceful and very relaxing. Leigh Ann’s home/BnB was clean and well appointed, her hospitality was amazing, breakfast was delicious and we look forward to our next visit.
I'm a repeat visitor to Leighanne's home. This is the third room I've stayed in and my favorite so far. The bathroom is attached and not shared. The bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get up! There are so many benefits to staying here. The shared spaces are comfortable and include; a wonderful living room to relax in and watch TV if you choose, a large back patio and a beautiful kitchen with everything I needed (a corkscrew and wine glasses!). I really enjoy birdwatching from the dining area, too. Breakfast is plentiful with many choices. I definitely recommend Leighanne's Airbnb.

Grew up on a farm and learned sustainable living skills at an early age, subsequently honed those skills through engagement as a professional scientist at the University. Enjoy cooking and baking with locally grown proteins, fresh fruits and produce. Favorite travel destinations include climbing Mount Sinai and the respite at St. Catherine monastery; white water rafting in the Canadian Rockies, Banff; Any beach along the southern coast of Portugal; Scuba diving among coral reef in the Gulf of Aqaba; Museum surfing in Washington D.C. and more recently venues in Austria, Hawaii and Austin, Texas.
