Cette ferme d'époque réhabilitée en pleine nature est très agréable pour se resourcer, et parfaitement située pour visiter la Toscane en quelques jours. A peu près à 1h de route de Florence, de Sain Gimignano et du Val d'Orcia, points d'intérêts que nous avons parcouru pendant ces 4 jours. L'accueil de Rebecca est très chaleureux, et le petit-déjeuner proposé tous les matins est excellent avec un bon rapport qualité prix. Le seule petit point négatif, est que la chambre que nous avions, située en dessous d'autres chambres, forcément pas très bien isolée du fait de son ancienne fonction de grange pour animaux, nous laissait entendre fortement tous les bruits et déplacements de nos voisins du dessus. Ce qui ne doit pas être le cas dans les autres logements :) En tout cas, c'était un très chouette séjour !

We had the most perfect stay with Rebecca. She is a kind and responsive host, and really easy to communicate with. The farmhouse is beautifully decorated and the views of the tuscan hills are stunning. A highlight was the breakfast at the farmhouse, which was delicious and consisted of many locally sourced products.

Thank you Rebecca and your family. You truly have a magical place. It is beautifully decorated and has everything that you need for an extended stay. It is in the countryside so get ready to drive for a little bit. Everything that you could ever want is only about 15 mins away. But that is the beauty of this place. So quiet and remote. The pool was so inviting but it was a little chilly during our stay. The only downside that I could say is that there is a laundromat on the facility that you have to pay. Yes I would definitely stay here again.

There are no words to truly describe how wonderful our stay was. Rebecca is a wonderful host - thoughtful, communicative, and oh so warm and welcoming. The place was just as described - cozy and well-appointed. Everything you could possibly need. The location is perfect for day trips out to the Tuscan hill towns. Be sure to sign up for a cooking class - Rebecca’s mother - Momma Loretta - will lead you through traditional Tuscan recipes in a fun and creative way; it’s a “must-do”! Breakfast and great coffee are steps away in the morning making it a real vacation! We truly cannot recommend this place enough - it is an absolute gem!

Il Caggio is a quaint, picturesque farm stay just outside Siena in Tuscany. The farm itself and the surrounding areas can't be more beautiful and peaceful. It's an exceptional escape from the busy-ness of the touristy Tuscan cities and is a great jumping off point for cycling, wineries, or hiking. It's a family run operation that the owners care deeply about. The buildings have all been nicely renovated while keeping the rustic aesthetic of the area. We stayed for three days and were able to take advantage of the optional breakfast, which was delicious, and other activities in the area. It's also an easy drive to many Tuscan towns for day trips. I would HIGHLY recommend this stay for anyone looking to enjoy the countryside while not being too far removed from urban areas.
