Die Lage der Unterkunft ist wunderschön. Hinter einem die Berge, davor das Meer. Alles war sauber und gut ausgestattet. Die Kommunikation verlief super sowie der Checkin- und out. Wir buchten die Unterkunft für 8 Leute und es sind zwei eigene Wohnungen direkt untereinander. Überhaupt nicht schlimm, denn es ist alles groß genug um gemeinsam zu Essen, nur ist das nicht aus der Anzeige hervorgegangen. 5 Sterne trotzdem und sehr empfehlenswert!

Ein schönes und gepflegtes Haus in einer sehr ruhigen Gegend. Privatsphäre hat man hier definitiv genug! Der Ausblick auf das Meer ist unbeschreiblich! Die Küche hätte zwar noch etwas mehr Ausstattung haben können (z.B. große Pfanne), dennoch völlig ausreichend. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und waren stets bemüht uns alle Fragen zu beantworten sich unseren Anliegen anzunehmen, dass wir in Baška Voda einen tollen Aufenthalt haben. This is a 2 x 2 bed apartment villa with a shared pool, so ideal for a larger family or relations to share. I suspect the apartments were built at different times, one over the other as there is an external staircase connecting them and sound transmission between the 2 means that you at least know exactly what's going on and where and with whom (at least the kids kept telling us..). There is a large sun patio and a decent sized plunge pool with a garden to the side (shaded so not used by ourselves) and a large garage underneath with the washing machine and adjacent to the sun patio. To the rear there is easy parking for 2 cars. The views out to sea are very good, although the balcony arrangements don't make best use of it - for example the top apartment has a reasonable sized balcony but with only chairs, whilst the lower apartment has a larger balcony with a table, but is undercover by virtue of the upper apartment. Dining outside is compromised as the lower apartment only has a hob (no oven) nor any cupboards with plates or crockery. The better equipped upper apartment has a full oven and hob, and plenty of cupboards with pots and glasses etc, but no outside dining area. Odd. The road to the villa is challenging being a 1st gear steep uphill, but any competent driver should manage OK, and the large rear parking space is easy to drive into off the road. You do look over onto other another villa below, but you're not overlooked yourself so privacy is pretty good. The villas were clean and tidy, with the upper one being the most stylish and light and airy. Bathrooms were good, although hot water in the shower in the lower flat was not in abundance and it wasn't easy to see how to improve things. The upper flat had a clearly visible hot water tank with thermostat so it was easy to figure out. The beds were clean and comfortable, all be it a bit squeaky (see above) when moving. Floors are all tiled so watch young kids and old biddies if you let them get wet. Whilst the main living rooms have air con, the bedrooms do not. I think in the middle of August, this could be an issue, so I hope the owners consider some fans or something if a heat wave continues. We had the living room air con on, and the bedroom doors open to take advantage. The family/owners are very nice and friendly and very happy to help. English is not brilliant but certainly better than my Hrvratski, so we managed OK to communicate. The town of Makarska is 9km away and is very busy with many restaurants, the best being Bura, on the opposite and quieter side of the marina. The nearer town of Baska Voda is closer at only 3km, but it is very touristy and quite 'kiss-me-quick'....

This villa was really nice! Clean and well kept. The view is just amazing. The owner family is super friendly. We felt really welcomed.
