Lovely cabin that felt like staying at “grandma’s house”. Checkin was easy. Finding it was easy. Lots of family history there that the hosts share. Went for rest and relaxation and got exactly that!

On short notice it was incredibly easy to find this wonderful place to stay. We were traveling to a charity dirt bike event at Boyers Farm Track. When the forecast changed for the worst. We looked for places to stay but we missed the window to make reservations. That’s when we found this gem. It was incredibly peaceful and cozy. The owners even made sure to inform me I had a shelter I could park my pick-up and trailer to keep everything out of the weather.

Our host (Shari) was very kind, and we liked the location and the house. The porch looking out into the forest was especially peaceful and pleasant. However, there were several major problems with this house. First, there were a lot of vermin in the house, including several cockroaches and one mouse. Second, the wifi was inconsistent and occasionally did not work at all. Even though we had a nice stay, and would even consider staying again, for those reasons, we cannot give this listing more than three stars.
