Nina's place is very simple and straight forward. For me and my friend, it was just nice to go home to and sleep and get some rest before we went out on our own. Yoyok is super friendly and funny! They speak English very well! I didn't have any problem communicating with them at all. You'll be able to rent scooters, do your laundry, go and eat at Noni's (Nina's siter's place by the beach, the breakfast there is AWESOME!) The house we stayed in was okay too, location was pretty near to the Riverside place where we managed to rent a kayak and go kayaking (if you're into that sortta thing) and it is quite near to the Lampuuk beach (a.k.a Joel's Place) the beach over there is nice, I saw a lot of people went there to watch the sunset. But please, don't waste your money eating there, come back to Nina's area and have a good meal LOL (based on our experience, the food was ok, but portion was so little for the price we paid). I am so looking forward to future trips to Nina's place again! Thanks again Nina and Yoyok! Please send our regards to Noni too! We miss you all so much!!

Great hosting and definitely i will come back for surfing. Ninas and husband were very helpful during my stay. They helped to pick me up at the airport with reasonable price, brought me around and shared the tsunami history. They asked me what i intended to do during my stay there and how could they help to make me materialized my plans. They shared some tips and ideas. I'm amazed with their hospitality and before i checked out from her place, she prepared Aceh cuisine for lunch, as a gesture to bid farewell. I love Ninas Homestay. Thank you to Ninas and husband.

I haven't stayed yet, because I had a change of plans, but Nina has been so helpful with planning that I can't wait to meet her. She was generous enough to give me a "rain check" for whenever I get back to Aceh.
