A few days in a beautiful little cabin tucked away from the busy world was exactly what we needed! It gave us the auspicious start we needed to commence the New Year. John, the host, was exemplary in how kind, responsive, and helpful he was from the time of we made the booking until after we checked out. Thank you so much!

Creekside was a great place for some peace and quiet but close enough to Asheville and its many attractions to enjoy restaurants, etc. The cabin is very clean and comfortable. Well decorated -- it was Xmas season. Only downside is that it is pretty small (we were 2 parents and a 10 y.o. and 7 y.o. boys) so there is very little privacy or a nook to read a book or take a nap. Most are there for the outdoor adventures anyway. Host was very helpful and communicated just the right amount!

What a great little spot to stay at, we couldn't have been happier with both the Cabin and the host! John was super responsive and easy to work with, his place was clean, and one of the most comfy places we've had the pleasure of staying at. There's a creek out back that was constantly running, made it nice and peaceful to just sit on the deck and listen to the water while reading, the wood burning stove was fantastic, really kept the place warm all night and was easy too use. We loved the location, just far enough out of town, but close enough to make a trip for shopping, coffee, etc. And with hiking trails literally 5 minutes away, or just a walk behind the cabin, what else could you ask for. Our trip was centered around the outdoors, and this place delivered. We found ourselves even wanting to stay an extra day.

John is a wonderful host with a cozy little cabin. We loved coming back to the fire after long days walking around Asheville.

Perfect place for a woodsy weekend getaway. We had a great time at the cabin, the wood stove made us feel very cozy, and we were so close to all the hikes we wanted to do! Would definitely recommend.
