Had a great stay at Michael’s place. Great location about 5 minute walk from 2 bus stops. Michael ensured we had passed for free public transportation throughout our stay. Took about 10 minutes to get to the center of town by bus. Clean spacious home in a very quiet neighborhood. Had a great outdoor patio and garden. It was the perfect location for our group as we home based in Bern and used the trains to get us all over the country. Would definitely recommend staying at his place.

We cannot speak too highly of Michael's apartment - and Michael as a host. The apartment is very modern, spacious, comfortable and well equipped, located among other new, high quality apartments that are within walking distance of the old city and only about 8 minutes by bus to the train station. Location on a ridge above the central city allows for a partial view of the Bernese mountains. Michael provided a special additional dimension, welcoming us on our arrival, providing in conversation and by email, invaluable advice on restaurants and places to visit, farewelling us on our departure and even driving myself and two suitcases to the train station when we found they would not fit into a taxi van. His recommendation when we arrived of the Rosengarten for lunch provided us with an unforgettable experience of enjoying beautiful food and wine with a panoramic view over the old town. This exceptional standard of hosting makes the best AirBnBs an experience not just places to stay.

Appreciate very much for Christof superb hospitality and proactive in furnishing us tips on getting our way around. Also, he lend a hand to start fire for the kids to roast the marshmallows.
