Alonissos is the unspoilt island of the Sporades archipelago. Those who visit are enchanted by the green landscapes, the turquoise water, the solitary beaches and the Marine Park, one of the last places in Europe where Monk seals live. Our villa is located in the island's most enviable spot: amongst pines, olive trees and a luxuriant Mediterranean bush that reach a small secluded beach some 80 meters below the villa. We own the five hectares of the villa's surrounding parkland. Sunset from our terraces is breathtaking and wholly immersed in nature. From our villa you can either walk down to the small untouched beach in our bay or discover the footpaths leading to nearby beaches. You can also visit the small monastery close by and enjoy the view. You can use our Land Rover to explore the rest of the island, from the Chora to all the other beaches. However, the villa itself is so beautiful that you won't want to leave too often. The Italian architects commissioned with the villa worked on this brief: make the house embody and enhance its remote natural surroundings, yet provide luxury and amenities. Therefore, the villa combines sustainable architecture (the use of traditional local materials, antique furniture, carpets and large fireplace, solar panels, oil lamps) with all the comforts of a luxury house. The outdoors are organized on several terraces: one for breakfast, one for lounging and dining (with bbq and wood oven), one for table tennis. Star gazing, drinks at sunset and candlelit dinners are all unforgettable at our villa. There is an outdoor shower surrounded by plants and flowers. Indoors are organized on several levels, as the villa is built along the hill's slope. The main body of the house, on the lower level, is the large living room with fireplace and open plan fully equipped kitchen and large dining area, 1 double bedroom, 1 single room and 2 bathrooms. On the other levels there are 4 double bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. 11 people can live here comfortably. Cots for babies are available. There are ceiling fans in all rooms. There is also a laundry room and a room with 3 beds for domestic staff. The caretaker of the villa can be contacted in any moment for assistance.
