The communication with the hosts was great. They organised a transfer from the ferry to the accommodation. The driver was very friendly and welcoming. The accommodation itself is located behind a huge guesthouse, therefore it did not have the prettiest views and not a lot of privacy. But it’s right in the centre of Caye Caulker, so shops, restaurants, the beach and so on are in walking distance. The Airbnb contained everything needed but was quite basic. The furniture has gotten on in years. The floor did not seem very clean and was quite dusty. The kitchen contains only a single stove, which should be kept in mind when planing to cook. Overall we had a good stay but from our personal point of view the accommodation seems overpriced.

Great value for your money and as long as you are realistic in your expectations, you won’t be disappointed. The mattress could use an upgrade (and should soon) but still did the trick. Several mornings were disrupted by some neighbours who were having some sort of ongoing feud. While irritating at first, it became a bit entertaining. You’re within walking distance to the split, the iguana reef and some of the best restaurants and bars around (I recommend fantasy restaurant, reef sports bar, swings bar and Maya beach bar right next to the sip and dip). Great place. Nice location. Lots of restaurants. Great AC and Hot Water. Comfy bed. I was travelling solo and was pleased. I used the kitchen and watched Netflix at night. Great for my solo short stay! They were very attentive, I had zero complaints.

The room was just as advertised, no problems and the location was great! One of the neighbors (who rented with the host) wanted this room because of how comfy the bed was, compared to their room. So I think this was the nicest room in the complex. the property manager was really helpful!
