Majla and Marco were fantastic hosts. In addition to our stay, we also did their Wine and Cook class and felt right at home with them like we were family! We absolutely loved our stay, thank you!!
Magical, whimsical and homey! We ended up with the Tower and the Tower Penthouse...well worth it! The little surprises around each corner like a complimentary bottle of wine, the secret door in the back of a closet, the books, books, books, books books and the fabulous rooftop access in the tower made this a MUST for your family vacation or for a romantic retreat. Definitely recommend the pasta making class, as well. It was the best meal we had on the entire trip.
We loved our stay! Beautiful home in an incredible setting. The rooftop vista was spectacular. The house is delightful, with old and new converging together for an unforgettable stay. The Wine and Cook experience was fantastic! Gabriella and Caterina were magnificent. Gracious hosts, delightful teachers and treated us as family. We hope to be back one day! Grazie mille!
We had a wonderful stay at the tower! Majla was a great host and very helpful. She also arranged a cooking class and wine tasting for us. Both were wonderful. Our kids had a fun time exploring. Highly recommend!
It is a magical place. If you ever dreamed of staying in an old castle like tower then this is the place for you. My daughter felt like Rapunzel. It was a great experience. I wish we had stayed longer. We are definitely coming back. It had a great little playground which my daughter loved.

My children are the 6th generation in this medieval villa, and when our budget doesn't allow us to travel, we like a little bit of the world to come to us. My grandfather - a personal hero of mine - hid and saved many lives (often complete strangers, and foreigners), from the fury of the Fascists and Nazis during WW2, in the many nooks and crannies of this old home; and this has created in his heirs a tradition of opening this home to strangers: we have been hosting since 2011. My husband Marco is a retired professional yachtsman, and now a talented and passionate cook; and together we have been offering wine tours and pasta making classes since 1998 with the Accidental Tourist. One of my favorite quotes is: "if you don't believe in connections, you miss them".
