Beautiful beach getaway on the scenic, protected bay of Patillas. Large terrace just steps away from the water where you can often see manatees feeding in the mornings. 4 bedroom/3.5 bath, large, fully equipped kitchen, open living area with cozy living room, dining room, and family room. Very close to restaurants, surfing, public beaches, and parks. Wonderfully suited for couples as well as families. Water front terrace. Mountain view on front side. Big patio with fruit trees (breadfruit, nispero, coconut), as well as beautiful flamboyan and oak trees. Main living and kitchen areas central air conditioned. Full kitchen with full-size convection oven, microwave oven, range and twin door refrigerator/freezer.

Jose’s cottage was absolutely beautiful and exceeded our expectations! The house is spacious, has everything you need, and has a gorgeous waterfront view. The location is just a few min from the public beach and restaurants. Jose was very communicative and helpful throughout our stay. We hope to come back and stay in the future! 10/10 experience!
Great house and location if you’re looking for a peaceful vacation. Manatees behind the house every day. Great restaurants nearby. Activities within walking distance g and driving distance. Would definitely stay here again!
The house was absolutely beautiful for our family of 5. It couldn’t have been better! We loved sitting on the back patio and enjoying the oceanfront views and watching the sailboats and other boats cruise by. It was very peaceful. Jose receives 5 stars from us as well. His hospitality was the best! He made us feel very welcomed upon our arrival and throughout our stay. My husband even bought a painting at La Plaza America in San Juan because it reminded him of the breathtaking views from the home’s patio. Thank you Jose!
La Cottage at Patillas is absolutely heavenly. My family and I had a WONDERFUL week at Jose's...I can say with confidence that Jose is one of - if not the most - hospitable person I've ever encountered. He truly went above and beyond for my folks and I. Excellent communication, super friendly, very generous in all ways. And the house itself is spectacular! Spacious, vast ocean views, tastefully decorated...and there was some fantastic food a short walk from the house! Thank you so much Jose, we won't forget our time in Puerto Rico...and you know I won't be forgetting guanabana anytime soon! P.S. if you're looking for a place to enjoy non-touristy PR, that still has access to some fantastic beaches, adventures, and beauty to boot...this is your place! Don't sleep on it!!! :)

House is located in Bajos de Patillas Ward, on the southeastern coast of Puerto Rico. East of Guayama and Arroyo, west of Maunabo and Yabucoa. 1.5 hours from San Juan, 1 hour 10 minutes from Ponce.
The best way to explore the island is by rental car. There's a local car rental company nearby. They can arrange to pick/return you up at the airport.
