Een heerlijk verblijf gehad, bij de mooie stranden in de buurt en je hebt een prachtig uitzicht. Zeker de moeite waard wanneer je de West kant wil verkennen.

Jan Kok Lodge is an oasis with beautiful landscaping and relaxing common spaces. We loved being so close to several beaches and then being able to come back to the lodge and relax at the pool during the hotter part of the day, and grill off our porch in the evening. It is necessary to do a little grocery shopping before you arrive - buy your own hand soap, extra toilet paper, and anything you want for the kitchen and grill (including charcoal). There was salt and pepper in the common kitchen but little else. We stayed for four nights and had the AC on during the night, and that only cost us $14 extra US. A bonus for us were the friendly dogs and cats, it made the lodge feel more like home. We also were very glad to have the provided cooler and beach towels and used them every day for outings to the beach. We recommend Williwood for cinnamon rolls and coffee in the mornings and if you're at Jan Kok on a Sunday, make reservations ahead of time for Williwood's live music BBQ. Playa Porto Mari was worth the $13 US for entrance and beach chairs, and has a great bar and restaurant. A drive up to Playa Grandi is a must if you want to snorkel with turtles! We will be back and can't wait to discover more of the beautiful island!

The outdoor space is excellent, the pool and views are as depicted but even better in person. Quiet with a lot of nature. It’s about 20 minutes to Willemstad and Christoffelpark, and less than 10 minutes from some of the best beaches. Would definitely stay again!
