Notice- potential noise from roof top during classes. We love Mexican tiles - they add light and color everywhere, especially in the fully-equipped kitchens. See the sunrise and sunset from the bedroom or the rooftop palapa with its superb ocean and mountain views. And pick your own fruits from the lush garden. You can live off the mango, papaya star fruit, lemon trees and coconut palms!

We love our stay in Jonathan’s penthouse apartment. The location is perfect for exploring Zicatela. Jonathan was such a fantastic host, super responsive, accommodating and full of recommendations.

Jonathan and his family were very sweet and accommodating, they made us feel right at home! He was very responsive and easy to communicate with, which made staying here extra nice! The place was so beautiful, we loved the colourful tiles and decor, the hammock was a personal favourite. We loved all the cats and dogs around the airbnb, they were very cute and very friendly. Overall, a lovely experience to spend in Puerto Escondido, and only a short walk away from the beach. Definitely a must stay!

Step back in time and experience Mexico as it was. There is not one franchise store in the area, everything is local and family businesses. The people are friendly and helpful, and run many kinds of Mexican restaurants and bars. Yet the nightlife of Zicatela is a three minutes drive away, or twenty minutes walk.
Walk to the beach in a minute. Drive to town by taxi that can be hailed in the street or ordered by phone. Cost - US $3 Or a collectivo from the main road costs 60 cents! Taxi from the airport takes 12 minutes and costs about US $11 Or if possible I can pick guests up from the airport. If you have your own car there is plenty of street parking.
