We absolutely loved our stay at La Maison Blanche .. it was beyond perfect for us, our two year old and dog. The house is even more beautiful than the photos if that’s possible, beautifully decorated with everything you need. We loved spending our days in the huge kitchen and the pool which felt private. The house is in a really small village and the neighbours were really friendly. The house felt really private. The house is driving distance for day trips to lots of places .. we went to Lourdes, the Pyrenees, Auch, a tour around lots of little villages with markets, lots of lovely dog walks with not a person in sight and we still had the time to relax and unwind in a beautiful house that felt like home. Peter was a great host - really responsive and with lots of recommendations. I honestly couldn’t fault our stay and we’re already looking to come back next year with friends. A perfect holiday.

La Maison Blanche is a stunning old farm house with tonnes of character. It is in a great location and the pool is perfect and private. The kitchen is the best room in the house - equipped amazingly and great for a group of 6 for dinners avec local wine. The house is old, therefore do expect a level of rusticness, mustiness, wear and tear throughout. We felt that overall this didn’t detract from our experience. There are lots of games around the house (inside and out) which were a fun addition. It’s a great house for a summer break with friends.

Grosse déception dès l’arrivée: logement sale, poussiéreux, malodorant, humide, en un mot malsain. Papiers tue mouches avec mouches collées, coton démaquillant sale sur le lavabo, ustensiles et plans de travail collants… sans parler du barbecue ( il y restait de la viande des précédents locataires) et de tous les «  équipements » en tres mauvais état… c’est la première fois que nous avons à faire à ce genre de déception !!! Les photos sont bien choisies et montrent les quelques pièces réaménagées! Je ne pense pas que l’orage 2 jours avant soit seul responsable de l’état de délabrement de cet endroit. Il faut tout de même souligner que malgré la barrière de la langue Peter est un hôte réactif ( le wifi ne fonctionnait pas ni la télé du coup à notre arrivée, ce fut réparé 2 jours plus tard). Et correct car il nous a remboursé 200€ sur la semaine de location. Que nous avons donc écourtée de 2 jours tant nous ne nous sentions pas bien dans ce logement.

Grande et sympathique maison dans son jus. Communication facile avec le propriétaire. Bon accueil. Très bien équipée. La maison mériterait un grand ménage...
