A lovely cottage amongst a small group of other buildings in a courtyard. Very private and quiet and easy access to walk into Cardiff and handy if visiting offspring at the University. The cottage was cosy and will definitely return again

This is a lovely cottage. Beautifully decorated and the kitchen has everything you need. Tjr bedroom is great, with a nice view over the garden. It is on the edge of Bute Park so in a pretty setting. It is very quiet even though there is a main road nearby. There are supermarkets a few minutes drive away. Fiona welcomed us to the cottage which was great. It is always nice to meet your host and I think it must be nice for them to see meet their guests. (We did find the cottage a little cold but we have no blood in our veins!) The cottage is an easy 15 minute walk into the centre of Cardiff. Either through the park or along the road. Cardiff has so many restarants and bars, lots of things to see in the area as well. I would definitely recommend Blackweir cottages for a stay in Cardiff.

I have stayed here several times and I love it - I keep coming back. Amazing peaceful location close to the city centre, and very comfortable.
