Renato's apartment is a quiet, well appointed and very comfortable base from which to enjoy Stresa and the surrounding areas which are all stunning. It is an easy and pretty walk along the lakeside into the town centre which has many lovely restaurants. The apartment is well equipped and the parking space is very convenient if you have travelled by car. Renato was very helpful and responsive with some great local recommendations. We hope to return!

Nous avons passé un bon séjour dans cet appartement. Nous avons reçu un très bon accueil de Renato. Le quartier est paisible et l’emplacement permet d’accéder à pied à Stresa et à l’embarcadère pour les îles Borromées.

L'appartement de Renato était en tout point conforme à nos attentes, avec un équipement très complet. Le lit était très confortable (grande largeur). Nous avons énormément apprécié le patio, nous permettant de manger dehors en profitant de la vue sur les jardins fleuris, même par temps de pluie. Le quartier est très calme et idéalement situé. Renato nous a accueilli de manière charmante, en nous donnant des explications détaillées et des conseils de visites, complétés par une riche documentation. Il s'est montré soucieux de notre confort et disponible. Nous recommnadons vivement ce logement.

Renato met us at the railway station and drove us to the apartment which is in a beautiful, wooded, residential area. The apartment was clean and tidy with a very comfortable bed, good shower and had everything we needed. We were so blown away by our surroundings that we spent the rest of the afternoon sitting on the terrace. Our main reason for visiting Stresa was to visit the Borromean Islands, which can be seen in the view of the lake from the side of the terrace. The Lido boat terminal is a 10 minute walk. There is also a decent restaurant 5 minutes away by the church. Stresa is best reached by walking along the promenade by the lake and is a bustling holiday town which we enjoyed but were glad that we could return to the peaceful location of Carciano. We enjoyed our stay, would return.
