We had the best time! So peaceful with beautiful surroundings, yet still close enough to shops and other attractions on the peninsula. We would definitely stay again!
We spent three blissful nights at Jo’s place. The house and surrounding grounds were tranquil and relaxing, we felt right at home. Jo was an incredible host and gave very helpful instructions and was very responsive to communicate with. I would highly recommend Jo’s beautiful house.
The property was incredible. A farmstead, feeling inside with luxury linen, all the amenities and well equipped Kitchen. The most amazing pool ever. Totally enjoyed all of the home with spectacular gardens and fantastic bushwalk. Area just across the road. A truly peaceful and relaxing day at Jo’s home. As a host, incredibly responsive, local suggestions, early and late checkout. Truly wonderful hosts! Thank you, we will be back!
Jo’s stunning Tyabb house is 10/10! The 6 of us who booked it for a girls weekend away unanimously agreed it was the nicest Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at outside of Melbourne. It looks exactly as it does in the pictures - stylish, comfortable and luxurious. All Jo’s ornaments and furniture felt very special and we felt lucky to have her share it with us. The pool is gorgeous both in sun or rain, as you can gaze out to it from the cosy lounge room or spend hours lapping up the sun. The kitchen is well equipped and there’s a great bbq, perfect for making generous holiday meals. We were obsessed with the master bathroom and made use of the gorgeous large tub with jets (oh lala). We were also so grateful the house was pet friendly so we could bring our dogs along. We adored making friends with the horses, which was the cherry on top of the perfect girls weekend away.
We had a wonderful holiday at Jo’s house, which has plenty of space for a family. We enjoyed the old charm combined with modern comforts. The outdoor entertaining area is fantastic and we spent many hours relaxing and swimming in the large pool. We would definitely visit again. Jo is very responsive and helpful.

I have lived in Melbourne my whole life and think it is one of the greatest cities in the world as we have such fantastic restaurants, shopping and great neighbourhoods to explore. I have been a host on Airbnb since November 2013 & absolutely love it. My husband & I are semi retired & we split our time between Richmond & the Mornington Peninsula. I started out with one small apartment we owned in Richmond & enjoyed hosting so much that we bought another one. We also rent out our home & the cottage which is on that property at Tyabb on the beautiful Morn Pen. I love to travel and usually choose to stay in apartments as I find it more relaxing than staying in a hotel. My favourite city in the world is New York!
