The location was excellent, especially if attending a wedding at The Haven Hotel, and Dunmore East is lovely. Communication could have been better but no major complaints. We booked the entire townhouse so we were missing kitchen amenities which is as per the listing but that does make it more on the expensive side. I'd say it's more suited to a normal Bed and Breakfast but overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Dunsmore East is a beautiful part of Ireland and we would go there again in a heart beat. However, we would not stay at The Strand Town House. The photos on AirB&B showed large rooms with views, clean and well appointed eating establishments and expected amenities such as wi-fi. What we found at the Town House were small rooms with no views, no eating establishment at The Town House as advertised in the photos, and wi-fi that did not work.

Dunmore East is very beautiful and we had a pleasant stay. The room was very simple but it was fine and the breakfast was lovely. Clifden could have been a bit more helpful; we weren't sent any messages beforehand to instruct us or simply welcome us to the guesthouse, so we were a little confused but it wasn't much hassle. All in all a positive stay though!
