Had a wonderful stay! Perfect location, walking distance to grocery stores, cafés and restaurants as well as Stanford campus.
Mei Lin hosted a guest of ours who was in town for a project, and he spoke highly of their home and hospitality. He said that the shared spaces were particularly lovely.
Idyllic house in a calm street. The room itself is rather small, but that was fine as I didn't spend much time at the house.. Other spaces of the house were excellent. The hosts are accommodating and casual.
Lage: Die Unterkunft liegt in Palo Alto und hat eine optimale Lage, wenn man zur Stanford University möchte. Man kann zu Fuß, mit dem Fahrrad, mit dem Auto/Uber fahren. Des Weiteren hat man fussläufig in Palo Alto alle Einkaufsmöglichkeiten die man benötigt. Unterkunft: Die Unterkunft hat mehrere Zimmer und Mei LIN und Ross wohnen oben im Erdgeschoss. Das Haus wird regelmäßig geputzt und ist entsprechend sauber. Die Küche ist groß und bietet alle Gerätschaften die man braucht und jeder bekommt genug Platz eingeräumt. Der Garten ist sehr schön angelegt und lädt nach der Arbeit zum Entspannen ein Zimmer: Mein Zimmer war das kleinste der Zimmer und entsprechend war das Bett (ich bin 1,85m) etwas klein, aber ansonsten hatte das Zimmer alle was man braucht um seine Sachen zu verstauen. Gastgeber: Mein Lina und Ross sind super Gastgeber, herzlich, freundlich, zuvorkommend und sind immer hilfsbereit. Das Wohnen mit Ihnen war sehr angenehm und ich würde es zu 100% weiterempfehlen.

I have lived and worked in Asia, Europe, Australia. We are alumni of MIT, Stanford and Australian National University. My husband Ross and I regularly travel to Asia and Australia, and appreciate the joy of travel, and understand the needs of travelers - so we make your stay as enjoyable and trouble-free as possible. We extend an especially warm welcome to international visiting scholars, interns and the families of Stanford University students, faculty and staff. Our well-equipped kitchen is ready for joyful meals, and on special occasions we get together with our guests and have a potluck dinner. Music is a big part of our lives, and our living room in the Airbnb where we live is our music room hosting a collection of musical instruments from around the world. Mei Lin likes classical music Bach & Broadway and plays the piano - , Ross likes Jazz: Miles Davis, Thelonius Monk and he plays the clarinet. We enjoy walking, biking, swimming, cross country skiing and gardening. As hosts we are "no fuss" and want you to feel like you are visiting friends who don't mind if you come and go at any time, We are also good for tips on the area - what to see, where to eat. And we're happy to have a conversation with if you feel like it, or just as happy to let you come and go as you please.
