The Farm Stay 1 was exactly as advertised. Close enough to town to be convenient but enough property to seem miles away from everything but safe and secure too. Furnishings are tasteful, high end and comfortable. We didn’t use the kitchen other than the coffee pot but it was fully equipped. The room and grounds are maintained very well. The swing on one of the the huge trees out front was perfect for reading and relaxing. We enjoyed the goats, chickens and ducks too!

Very enjoyable stay. Frances provides many small touches that make a big difference, and the room itself is beautifully constructed with slate floors and rich wood accents. The grounds are quaint and there is not a shortage of things to do. We wish we could have stayed a while longer!

Frances's place was amazing! From the majestic live oaks to the little ducklings, I couldn't have found a better place to stay in Alabama. The house is exactly as described. Frances shared a little of the history of the place, which I thoroughly enjoyed learning about, as well as suggestions for what to see in the area. The location is close to downtown Fairhope, so you can easily find things to do. Or you can look in the detailed notes Frances has included in a notebook in the room - very helpful! You can't go wrong staying at this location.
