a little oasis in one of the most beautiful natio al parks. it is incredible what Robert has created and what knowledge he has about plants. a little paradise. I wish we would have had more time there!

We had two nights at the Pear Cottage and we're amazed by the garden and beautiful surroundings! Robert have us a warm welcome, showed us some of the gardens herbs (even gave us something to cure a sore throat!!) and gave us freshly picked passion fruit which was an unexpected treat! The cottage is quite cosy, and a perfect spot to go explore Tsitsikamma National Park.

My wife and I could not have had a better experience if we had tried. We were immediately greeted as we arrived at 3 o' clock and were shown to our room which had been beautifully decorated for us as they had heard we had recently been married. It seems that every effort was taken to ensure that we were not only looked after but cared for as well. Our hosts were extremely kind and ensured that we enjoyed our stay and even gave us a gift as we left, which we did not expect and really made us feel that they cared beyond what was required. The location is amazingly separate from the noise of a city and allowed my wife and I to relax and enjoy a truly natural getaway with one another. We will most certainly be making a stop here again and we cannot thank you enough for the hospitality and kindness that was shown to us.

Thank you Robert for hosting us. We loved exploring and learning about your garden, and of course your two dogs were just delightful. Loved waking up to the beautiful view.

Très beau séjour chez Robert et George. Passionné de son jardin, il nous a fait partage son savoir. Nous avions l’impression d’être perdus dans la forêt. Très bien placé pour visiter le parc.
