We had no prior knowledge of this gem, and boy are we glad we booked! Carl, Teri, Dewey, and Mikaela were lovely hosts that made us feel welcome and right at home. The little cottage was the perfect place to curl up. Not advertised but I'll do it here: There were fireflies outside at night, and a double shower headed bathhouse. ...and lest not forget, the friendly horses. You won't regret your stay here. Thank you Carl and Teri!

10/10 awesome experience. Our original host had to cancel on us last minute leaving us in a bind so we found the griffin ranch on short notice and Carl was extremely helpful. Upon arriving he upgraded us to the bigger cabin and we arrived to a welcome basket of snacks and pup treats for our dog. The property is beautiful and the horses are friendly. Carl was down to earth and his communication was great and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back.

Although we had to cut our trip early (only stayed one night instead of 2), we had an overall great stay. Very peaceful, secluded and quaint! Only a few minor things to note for others looking to book: the shower is separate in a small bathhouse in between this unit and the other unit(not sure if it’s rented or people live there full time). The road noise you can hear from within the cabin, and the cabin is on well water. None of these things bothered us, but wanted to note them for others. The inside of the cabin has a tub, toilet, and sink separated by a curtain (no door). The host also provided us with a cute welcome basket with mugs, snacks and coffee for the Keurig in the room.

Fantastic, rustic little cabin in an authentic Floridian setting. Carl and Terri (and Meow Meow and the other cats) were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The cabin was spotless and is really charmingly decorated, with WiFi, smart TV, and a breakfast basket. Enjoyed great pizza on the porch from local Rocco's just 2mins away in Ft McCoy where there's also a grocery, gas station and liquor store. Note that it's close to the road, and there are some others living or staying on the ranch, but the cabin feels very private. Handsome live oaks, Spanish moss, a chorus of frogs in the nearby pond, and fireflies at night made it a magical Floridian stay.

Was an amazing stay. Very comfortable and peaceful. The host was very warm and welcoming. Loved the horses and the area!
