We booked Louise's place on only a couple of hours notice, and she was quick to respond and welcome us. Her place is clean and comfortable, and worked well for our family (2 adults and 2 teenaged boys). Its location is well-situated for exploring Long Island - we went to the southern beaches all day, then explored the cool villages on the northern side in the evening. The best part of the place is Louise herself, though. Each morning she made us an amazing breakfast spread, then we ended up chatting for hours. If you believe in the original spirit of AirBnB, where you make real connections with somebody in another community, I can't recommend Louise and her place enough.

Louise was a great host, I had a very private room and my own bath and could come and go without checking in. But also Louise was there on two occasions when a nice chat was very welcome. I was there to see friends but it is a beautiful area, free street parking, nice walks through a charming neighborhood.

Our hosts treated us so nicely and were so welcoming. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home and welcome in their house. The accommodations were so comfortable and clean. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward 2 going back to this Airbnb very soon. The Neighbourhood was adorable and very safe. It was walking distance to the water where we enjoyed beautiful views of the harbor. It was very private but also very accessible to the stores and top notch restaurants
