自我介绍

Keith and I have been married for 35 years. He is retired from a diverse career in air traffic control, museum and retail work. I'm retired from full-time work as a social worker and counselor but continue to do casual work for Victoria Hospice. We have lived in six different provinces and territories of Canada and have enjoyed them all - but Vancouver Island, British Columbia is something special. During our leisure time, we enjoy hanging out at local coffee shops, visiting galleries and museums, walking in nature, going to movies, plays and concerts. We both love to read. We watch way too much television (cooking, HGTV and documentaries of all sorts). We enjoy travel too - including staying in other Airbnb’s - as we always learn new ideas for hosting! When the weather's warm, we like to explore the local area and Gulf Islands on our scooters. This past year, we've taken a series of painting classes together, which have been fun and interesting. As a couple, I would describe us as both personable and private - we enjoy meeting new people, and we treasure our privacy and downtime. We will follow your lead in terms of how much or how little interaction you prefer during your stay with us.
