Nice house, had a minor problem easily resolved. Communication during our stay was difficult because of her travel, but there wasn’t anything we really needed. Other than that, everything was perfect.

We choose Karla's house because of all of the other great reviews. The home itself is lovely. Very roomy with a gas fireplace in the great room. Beds were very comfortable. Location -outstanding and a nice neighborhood for walks. Plus there is a nice park across the street. The owners live here full time, so it makes it difficult to transform the home into a nice full service AirBnb rental. There was quite a bit of clutter throughout the home of the owner's personal effects. The home has many small maint issues that should be addressed. Unfortunately the house was not as nice as we thought it would be. The fridge was full of food and the shelves needed to be cleaned. We did this before we put our thanksgiving groceries in. Furniture in the living room was full of dog hair. We should not have to clean things before moving in for our stay. We had a nice thanksgiving here since it was with family, but the house was a disappointing overall.

Amazing house! It was a pleasure to spend a week here while visiting family. The house is huge with so much space to spread out and beautiful gardens and a trampoline and a playground across the street. Our little one loved it! We had two adults working from home and we each had our own totally separate beautiful space in the house with great Wi-Fi. Kitchen is also amazing. Highly recommend!

The house was perfect for our visit! We stayed here for our son’s graduation from Northwestern University. It was conveniently located, spacious and perfect for accommodating our extended family. The deck and outdoor spaces were especially lovely. Karla was particularly thoughtful. When we arrived we found a large chalkboard sign with “Congrats NU Grad” written on it — such a nice touch. In addition, when I got home, I discovered that I had lost a pendant from my necklace. I wrote to Karla, and she responded very quickly saying that she had looked everywhere — even the washer and dryer. While she did not find the pendant (it could have been lost anywhere), she told me that her everyone in her family now knows about it and that she would let me know if it ever turns up. I have no doubt she will. Karla’s house helped make our celebrations in Evanston memorable!

This house was perfect for hosting our family for Thanksgiving! So much space, including a comfortable living room, huge and well-equipped kitchen, and lots of bedrooms for visitors. It also has a spacious back yard with a deck and a trampoline that our kids loved. The house is opposite a very nice community park, and we met several of the neighbors who were really friendly. This is a very family-friendly house and neighborhood.
