We had an amazing family bank holiday break at the farmhouse! A great space for the whole family to get together with great walks and pub nearby and lots to visit slightly further afield.

Jasper’s wonderful home was perfect for our family holiday. Beautiful setting, comfortable and spacious (bigger inside than some of the photos suggest), great local walking and nearby activities for all ages. Thank you for having us!

This is a wonderful place to stay, so peaceful and the views from the house are really beautiful. I booked Penylan Farm House for my family to celebrate my mother in law’s 90th birthday. We were a group of ten, the oldest being 90 years old and the youngest 10 years old. We also had our well behaved dogs. The home was lovely, beds comfortable, and plenty of comfortable space for us all. Jasper was a really good host, and communicated really well. We really enjoyed ourselves here and look forward to staying again.

We booked Penylan cottage for a 3 night family get-together. Our group of 11 loved the cottage which was clean, light & spacious but retained a cosy homely atmosphere. We were greeted by our hosts Jasper & Laura & by a lovely welcome gift of traditional bara brith, a bottle of wine & bottled apple juice. The location was beautiful even in February with little growing in the garden & had a magical ‘other worldly’ feel to it. The kitchen was well equipped, living room inviting with logs supplied for the fire & more available to purchase very reasonably with honesty box system. The whole group aged 14 - 72yrs loved the barn with pool & table tennis tables which was well-used especially during rainy weather. Without exception we all slept comfortably and had plenty of hot water for showers & one of our group thoroughly enjoyed the large deep bath for a wallow. Highly recommended, we would love to return.

Jasper’s place was perfect for a relaxing family gathering along with our dogs. We were enchanted by the beautiful house and unspoilt views. The house was warm, beautifully furnished and appointed with tons of space, a massive kitchen for feasting and a large open fire in the lounge. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. We all felt right at home. A large boot room was great for the dogs, as was the games barn for restless kids! A short walk to a friendly pub that does food. Jasper was very welcoming and kind, even keeping the Christmas tree in situ for us. We didn’t want to leave and will certainly return. Thanks to Jasper and family for a fantastic break.
