A nice, restful retreat. The house was spotless, roomy, and very well stocked with essentials that will save you from having to run right out and get groceries. We spent a lot of time on both the front and back porches. It was a treat to see the “pet” cows while we were on the back porch relaxing and enjoying the breeze. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, including spices! Plenty of towels and bedding. We met Linda and she is absolutely delightful. I honestly cannot think of anything we lacked while we were there.

This place was everything we needed and more. We selected it because of the location, being close to many attractions in the hill country, and it didn’t disappoint. Easy to get there and easy to drive around. The place itself is unique and beautiful, especially the outdoor space. The hosts thought about everything their guests might need and you will have everything you need for a pleasant stay. If you get to meet Linda, that is another treat. She is such a lovely person and a pleasure to talk to. It’s obvious that she loves people and loves to make them feel at home in the bunkhouse. If you are lucky, the Longhorns will walk by the back porch and say hi. I highly recommend this place and definitely would love to come again!

We enjoyed our stay at Linda and Earl’s. Great communication, well stocked house, and we loved that they provided juice, eggs, muffins, bottled water. We are looking forward to staying there again soon!
