Breakfast is included. Vía Verde is a sustainable off-grid house powered by solar energy. It is in the middle of the woods: just in the entrance to Playa Grande beach and Santa Teresa National Park. Our philosophy is to enjoy a peaceful place in full connection with nature. The house is powered by nature, so we ask our guests to make a wise and sensible use of electricity and water. We have two rooms upstairs (this is one of those) with amazing views of the sea and 2 shared bathrooms, and more rooms in the ground floor, with private bathroom and private terrace with views (see our other listings). There are also several common areas with hammocks, tables and chairs to chill out. Breakfast is served from 09 to 10.30 am. The kitchen is fully equipped and is available to cook from 9:00 to 23:00 hs. Free WiFi . We live in the house, so we keep an eye on it all day long. Location: the house is a 2 minute walk away from Playa Grande and Santa Teresa National Park and 15 minute walk away from the town centre. At a 5 minutes walk there are restaurants, and two markets to buy food and groceries. If you are feeling lazy, there are also pizza and food deliveries. We have maps, brochures and information about the area and will be very happy to give you any advice you need. We speak fluent English, French and Portuguese. From Montevideo bus station there are plenty of buses to Punta del Diablo, the companies are Rutas del Sol, COT and Cynsa. There are regular services from the Montevideo bus station (called Tres Cruces, you can check the website for timetables).
