Rixie was a fantastic host, super responsive and we arrived to a great welcome package. Rixie and Rui showed us the immediate area and recommended restaurants, they could not have been more helpful. They had just the right balance to being available and respecting our privacy. The unit is exactly as described and better, as it is really well equipped and has a fast WiFi connection, great if you are working or need the internet. Their solar panels mean that there was no load shedding. It is in a quiet residential area and we felt safe walking across the park to the Mediclinic and coffee shop. It was a 10min car ride to Canal Walk and just over 15mins to V&A Waterfront so easy to get into Cape Town when we wanted to.

A comfortable stay.Rixi and Rui are caring and wonderful hosts . Loved the decor in the unit. Everything advertised as in the photos. Thank you the little extras of fruit and yogurt and rusks. The dstv had all these amazing movie channels- i really enjoyed this . Wi fi was never a problem and always on. No issues at all. What a pleasure to have stayed at Rixi’s place.

This was the best stay we've ever had. Rixie and Rui makes you feel like family. Thank you for all the thoughtful extras, from the wine, bread ,cheese, jam and milk to the fruit and lovely sweets and snacks. We will hopefully be back in August to enjoy a longer stay. They even helped us carry our luggage in! The unit is beautiful and very comfy and everything was as advertised. And no loadshedding!! Rixie is a great communicator and all instructions were very clear. It was wonderful knowing that our car was safe as well. Thank you Rixie and Rui for your care and compassion in our difficult time! We can't wait to spend more time there and get to know you better.

Rixie & Rui was a super friendly host and the flat is very private. Cape Town is a beautiful City and next time we come to visit we will not hesitate to book at Rixie’s place. We even managed to share a couple of meals together whilst here and made some new friends! The apartment is very well equipped and thought after. The apartment is exactly as on the listing It was my best ever stay in any Airbnb.
