We chose to stay at Fredric & Muriels place in Comporta for 7 days in aid of a surprise trip to celebrate my mums 50th and we couldn’t have been happier with the place we chose! We came as a group of 8 adults (2 of which are quite elderly) and found the home to be perfectly situated for walking to the shops, restaurants and all that Comporta has to offer! The beach is also a very pleasant stroll away. The house is more spacious than the images show and the four bedrooms accommodated us perfectly, with one of them being on the ground floor which was perfect for our grandparents. The house decor is very aesthetically pleasing and the amenities are just what you need for a stay. Fredric & Muriel are very responsive for any questions you have throughout your stay. We’d happily stay again when visiting Comporta!

So many wonderful things to say about Frederic and his home in Comporta! It was a great spot for our family; even with cold, rainy than desired weather we were able to enjoy the pool and loungers when the sun peaked through and the fireplace made the space very hygge! We also had a private chef come one night and the kitchen had everything that was needed! Walkable to great restaurants and shops in Comporta!

Nous avons passé 3 jours inoubliables dans la maison de Frédéric. La maison est idéalement située en plein cœur du village de Comporta, un lieu paisible, où nous avons pu aller dîner et faire du shopping à pied. Les paysages sont magnifiques à cette époque de l’année. Même en janvier, nous avons pu profiter de la douceur du temps, des extérieurs cosy de la maison et de sa belle terrasse. Une oasis de verdure et de repos. La maison est très bien équipée et décorée avec énormément de goût. La literie ainsi que le linge de lit sont extrêmement confortables et douillet. Nos hôtes ont fait preuve d’une grande gentillesse et la communication a été très fluide tout le long du séjour. Vous l’aurez compris, nous avons adoré ce séjour de déconnexion totale dans cette superbe maison familiale. Nous y reviendrons, c’est certain !

Pleasant villa in great location. Tastefully decorated but the quality is mid range, not premium. For example, beds okay, but not hotel standard. Kitchen has what you need, but again, not high quality. There are no heated towel rails, with the inclement weather this was a problem. We did not note that there is no TV - didn't actually occur to me to check, but there isn't. We went off season, with variable weather, the opportunity to relax with a movie would have been nice. But the games and speaker were appreciated. The villa is spacious, we were a party of 6 adults. If we'd had better weather we'd doubtless of enjoyed the outside area. However, there are not enough comfortable seating options for us all to relax together inside. There were basic supplies for arrival, but you need to buy extra loo roll, coffee, toiletries etc. In summary, for an off season rental we paid top rate. We stayed 5 mins from the property the week before - somewhat cheaper and hugely superior.

A very tastefully decorated and spacious holiday home. Great amenities inside and the outside space is excellent for dining and relaxing. Very comfortable beds and lovely bed linen. We had a fabulous family reunion in beautiful surroundings. Overall a fabulous holiday house.
