We stayed at Wouter’s rental for four weeks because we wanted to learn how Dutch people lived and because its location is ideal for exploring all of the western part of the Netherlands and the major cities in this area. The rental is in easy walking distance to grocery stores (2), restaurants, a bakery/cafe, a cheese shop and a meat shop. We frequently drove to the train station in Sassenheim from which we traveled to the major cities in western Holland. The rental is on three floors. Ground level has a very well equipped kitchen, living room, and restroom (sink and toilet). The second floor has a bedroom, an office, and a bathroom (double sink, shower, bathtub, toilet). The third floor has a bedroom and bathroom (shower, sink, sauna). The rental SLEEPS four people nicely. Lastly, the rental sits on a wonderful part of the town’s canal system. The bird life on the canal was a highlight of our stay at Wouter’s rental. Wouter is a very good host who responded to our few concerns.

Our stay was amazing. beautiful house and beautiful views!! easy to get to and from Amsterdam and other nearby cities. the only thing I would caution is the stairs, they are pretty steep and there are quite a few in the house to get to the bedrooms. besides that everything was absolutely amazing.
