We spent one night at Adam’s place and it was what we expected, quiet and relaxing. Really close to the beach and some restaurants, so it’s a great location for your holiday !

We left after 2 nights (out of 4), mainly because we were awoken both nights by a loud noise reminiscent of a rodent. I didn’t get a visual of it, but it freaked us out. The second morning I encountered a cockroach under my sandal. Further deficiencies: - Bad service, despite an abundance of “staff” (complete with shirts). I had to ask twice for towels and it took them forever to provide the bare minimum. Mine had a hole. Same story with our request for extra toilet paper (1/2 roll for 4 days, seriously?). - A light bulb with exposed wires centimeters from the showerhead, which seemed downright unsafe. - The windows can’t be locked and thus easily opened from outside. - No hangers whatsoever for the towels. Maybe that’s why no towels were provided initially 🤨 - Faint cigarette stench in the bedroom. - Sewer stench in the bathroom. - A/C blows (powerfully, also in the “sleep” setting) directly onto the bed, which only has a thin sheet. +: sturdy mattress, location, porch

If you're uptight and need your hand held, this might not be the place for you... But, if you're looking for a great location for a great price, you can't beat Adam's Mame Tree. Second time staying here (even though we own a beach-house elsewhere on the island) just because it's SUCH A GREAT LOCATION!!
