Authentic Sicilian experience - absolutely recommended. Guido's place is a true gem, being at the same time rustic, comfortable, and truly beautifully decorated. With its wooden roof, stone walls, large pizza oven, and fireplace, it gave me and my wife the feeling of going back in time, while still enjoying all the comforts of modern living. Nothing was lacking in the house, which was really spacious, comfortable, and decorated with great taste. Besides the large internal spaces, there's a patio at the front of the house where it's possible to eat and enjoy the beautiful garden. In addition, the grounds around the house are a little corner of Paradise in the Sicilian countryside (with a swimming pool, large trees which provide abundant shade, and a hammock). Guido and his wife, who live in a nearby house, were awesome hosts, very discreet and also extremely helpful and available. Thanks a lot for a very enjoyable stay!

Das Haus von Guido hat eine wunderbar authentische Atmoshäre. Die dicken Mauern halten es kühl und die Einrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll. Die ersten Tage sind wir von Raum zu Raum gewandert und haben alles mit Genuss betrachtet. Insbesondere die Küche war gemütlich und alles, was nötig vorhanden. Aber auch die Schlafzimmer waren wunderbar einfach und besonders eingerichtet und die Betten hatten gute Matratzen. Nachts ist es ganz ruhig. Auch draußen war sehr schön. Wir haben so oft wir Zeit hatten in der Hängematte unterm Johannisbrotbaum gelegen. Wenn wir einen Wunsch hatten, so hat Guido's Nachbarin alles übersetzt und alles wurde erfüllt. Von Testa d'ell Acqua kann man gut die barocken Städte Noto, Ragusa und Comiso besuchen. Wir waren auch in Catania, obwohl es weiter weg ist. Zum Strand sind wir gern zum Lido di Avola gefahren oder zum Gelsimeto. Die traumhafte Schlucht Casa Grande di Cassabile mit ihrem idyllischen Flußtal muss man unbedingt erleben. Wir wären am liebsten geblieben. Auch die lieben Hunde wollten uns ganr nicht weglassen, weil sie so schön mit unserer Hündin gespielt haben. Wir können Guidos Haus absolut empfehlen.

Esperienza unica !! Nella casa di Guido godrete di un soggiorno unico e irripetibile ! Inutile parlare della sua ospitalita e cordialita ! Prenotate questa reggia immersa nel verde vi assicuro che non ve ne pentirete !!! CONSIGLIATISSIMO

Guido and his wife were very welcoming and showed us all the beautiful details of the house that they've been reconstrucing since 2003 with a lot of love for the details. Although everything in kitchen and bathroom is renovated, one still sees all the details of an old place, the beauty of the nature and the surrounding mountains is amazing and you should come to enjoy the fresh figs from the trees - thanks for collecting some for us, Guido ;) PS be careful when climbing up the little road towards the house, you don't want to drive fast on that part- original stones from the mountains:)

Nous avons passés un super séjour chez Guido à la hauteur de nos attentes. L'endroit est reculé dans la région de Noto, mais le logement en vaut le détour. Perdu au milieu des oliviers et des murets de pierre, nous avons beaucoup apprécié nos soirées tranquilles près du barbecue et des figuiers sous un beau ciel clair et étoilé. Le logement est grand et très confortable. Nous étions 7 et pas du tout les uns sur les autres. La maison et le site en général ont beaucoup de cachet. Nous avons vraiment été ravis de l'accueil et de notre séjour. Je recommande vivement aux amoureux de la nature.
