Carla was extremely responsive throughout the run-up to our stay and while we were there. She provided recommendations for activities and even helped us look into doing things at nearby Skytop lodge. The location was great, the house was clean and easy to find and we really enjoyed our weekend. It was my wife’s birthday and Carla added personal touches leaving my wife a gift and leaving a birthday welcome message on the chalk board which was really appreciated. The kids had a great time playing in the snow in the back yard and we really enjoyed using the fire pit outside. The location is great. Private and quiet yet close to lots of activities in the Poconos. We will definitely consider making another visit!

Carla was incredible. She was very helpful and understanding when we needed certain things or wanted to make any changes. We rented this for our wedding weekend for family to stay in and multiple times she offered a hand in anything we needed for the weekend and was very personable. The lodge is a perfect, private little getaway and we’ll definitely be back!

Just as advertised black bear lodge was beautiful. Carla was responsive and one of the most considerate hosts I have ever booked with.

Second year at the Black Bear Lodge and always a great time. The Airbnb itself has plenty of room for all group sizes. It is Located in a great area of the Poconos with access to a lot of different activities. Carla is always a wonderful host who cares about her guests to ensure a good stay. Will be back again!
