Our lovely space is a lush urban oasis and permaculture farm. Enjoy goats, pigs, emus, roosters, parrots, tortoises, cats, and friendly people. Located in "Little Haiti," near art district, 15 minutes from airport and South Beach. Fresh veggies, eggs and honey when available! Late night train horns and early rooster crows also!
Please check in by 7 pm on arrival day.
Walk up narrow staircase to the 3rd level of the treehouse, nestled within the pithocilobium tree. Feel like you're living in the trees! Beautiful view of canopy and animals. There's a double bed for two. Shared kitchen downstairs. The Bahamas style bathroom is located a few steps away from the Treehouse and the lovely outdoor shower is also close by. Bathroom and shower have hot water.
Due to height of treehouse, no children are allowed (sorry). From the canopy room, you will hear animal sounds and possibly midnight train horns.
Mosquitos are at their peak during rainy season (June-September) we have a net over the bed, citronella candle, two fans and incense to keep them away from you in the Treehouse, but that's not a guarantee.
Miami summer is hot. While our beautiful canopy of trees helps keep the farm a lot cooler than other parts of the city, be mindful that the Treehouse only has fans for cooling. It does not have an air conditioner. Please consider our "Cozy Cabin room" or "Cute Cedar Camper" listings if you are sensitive to mosquitoes or prefer air conditioning. Please check-in by 7 pm.

i really enjoyed my stay at tree house .the farm lifestyle is the best choice for por people who wanna getaway from city. I love and cherish every moment with animals even some nasty bugs here .i believe that they are all unique and have their own character.i wasn't bother too much by the mosquitoes there and it wasn't that hot even without AC. I definitely will stay again if I come back to Miami.
A special experience in a fantastic place. And Leslie is very friendly and informative.
Ours is an eclectic community located in a low-income residential neighborhood of Miami. Many people are surprised to discover the beautiful oasis that is our farm. We are centrally located and easy to find. If you want a quiet, pretty place to unwind after experiencing the glitter of Miami, you will be very pleased.
We offer airport drop-off from the farm for reasonable fees. Public transportation is easy here, one block away there are buses to South Beach, Wynwood, Art District. We are less than 5 minutes to I-95 freeway.
I moved to the farm in November 2012, just before Ray and I celebrated our wedding in a big farm bash. Living here is delightful, waking to the sounds of roosters and parrots. I like joyful times shared with my family and community, including potluck vegan dinners, volleyball, lively conversations about social issues. As a traveler I've always preferred to stay among the local people rather than in a touristy hotel. So here at the farm, I try to give guests a feeling of inclusion and an opportunity to add their own special qualities and talents to our community.
